Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Build 22631.3296 (TPM Required) (x64) En-US March 2024 [FTUApps]

Windows 11 The main part of this announcement was to introduce a significant UI change codenamed Sun Valley. As we know, a significant portion of the UX changes will be carried over to the Windows 10X shell and Windows 10X will not be released. Now, as expected, the leaks about Windows 11 begin.

What’s new in Windows 11:

– Windows 11 will get a completely new design. Microsoft clearly needs a good reason to reverse its previous claims and yet abandon Windows 10 by introducing a new operating system number. And the brand new design is great for that. The Redmond giant has long been preparing a redesign for an update codenamed Sun Valley (“Sun Valley”) – apparently, Windows 11 has been running under this name on the network for a long time – Microsoft regularly revealed details Insiders shared previously unknown information about the new interface style, and well-known designers in their circles drew realistic concepts based on all this data.

– Start and system elements float above the bottom bar. Start is the business card and face of every newer version of Windows. It is not surprising that the developers will redesign it again in Windows 11, but not so much in the functional sense, but in the visual sense – the start window will float above the bottom bar. We must admit that this small change makes the system look much fresher. Judging by the information from the network, Microsoft is not going to radically change the “inside” of this menu – the innovations will only affect the design of the window itself. The control panel will also be floating, and the design will be exactly the same as that of “Start”. The Action Center will be merged with the control keys – something similar has been used in some other operating systems for a long time. Almost all mentions of this new menu indicate that it will be isolated – controls will be in a separate area, notifications in another, and certain elements (such as players) in another separate area.
– Right angles will disappear, they will be replaced by rounded ones. True, insiders and designers of the concept do not agree on this issue – some are convinced that Microsoft will not change its tradition and will preserve the right angle, while others are convinced that in 2021 Microsoft will follow the fillet fashion. The latter fits the definition of “completely new Windows” better – floating menus alone are not enough to make a new design truly new. Fillets are expected to affect almost everything in the system, from context menus and system windows to all application windows. True, the opinions of concept designers also differ on this issue – some draw fillets in all sorts of interface elements, others combine them with right angles.
– There will be a transparent background with blur everywhere. There is disagreement on the Internet about the island style of the window display, the design of the corners and the levitation effect of the menu, but almost everyone agrees on the transparency of the window. The vast majority of design leaks and renders show transparency and blur in all windows, be it at least in the Start menu or Explorer. Moreover, these effects are even part of the discontinued Windows 10X operating system, which Microsoft developed in parallel with the Sun Valley project for devices with two screens and weak gadgets.
